Modern Nomad
concept, design and animation: Olga Pavlova

Modern Nomad is a visual concept for series about those who live a life without a fixed address. It’s a look at their lifestyle, culture and personal stories. From Nigerian herders to French gypsies, they all live their lives independently and relocate as often as they need to in order to survive. Whether they remain doing this by choice or are just living the historic outcome of their tribes these series uncovers answers to those questions and take a look at what it is like to be a modern nomad in the 21st century. The project arrived from the personal experience of living out of a suitcase for the past 6 years and a random blog post read on a rainy Thursday morning, when the dread of the city made me want to vagabond.
